The Racism Card...Why So Quick to Use It?

I haven't posted anything in a while due to the agony of the administration. It's all a beating!! They don't get us, listen to us, or ever want to!! All they want is more, more, and MORE Government control. When did we throw out the Constitution? So, I'm back in the blog game. It is my obligation (as is every other American, Liberal or Conservative) to help people understand what is going on both sides in America.

On this post, I want to talk about a very sensitive issue. First and foremost, I want to let this be known, I'M NOT A RACISTS AND NOWHERE CLOSE TO ONE!!

First a little about the situation. The other day while at work, I was listening to a conversation over the CB about our President. It was known that the conversation was between an African American and a White man. Everyone on the CB new this because both of them let it be known of their race. The African American was "for" the president's policies and the White guy was "against" his policies. About 3 minutes into the conversation, the White man said, and I quote, "The President is an idiot! All he wants to do is have the government with more control over our lives." The African American responded with, and I quote, "Oh, all of you crackers are racists!"

Now that the situation is known, I have a couple of questions. Where in that statement by the White guy did he ever say anything that even resembled a racists remark? Why did the African American feel he needed to dub a White man a racists during the heated political conversation? Is it so hard to have an intellectual conversation about different opinions and leave the race card out?

I didn't hear anything remotely racists by the White guy. He called another man an idiot. Just like I called Bill Clinton and idiot.....I'm White and he's White, does that make me a racists? I didn't agree with everything Bush did and I let those disagreements be known. Race never became an issue. As far as I'm concerned, the African American can be called a racists with his usage of the word "crackers". Even after being called a "Cracker", the White guy never fell to the African Americans racists level. What this conversation meant is that the African American felt defeated because he could not intellectually have a conversation with the White guy about politics, so, he threw-in the race card. I've got the solution though. How about everyone (white or black) go learn the facts about today's politics and then jump in on these conversations when you feel comfortable! When you can do this, maybe an intellectual conversation about politics can occur, and the race card can be left tucked in the sleeve.

Waterboarding.............Why Not?

First, for those who don't know, waterboarding is is a form of torture that consists of immobilizing the victim on his or her back with the head inclined downwards, and then pouring water over the face and into the breathing passages. By forced suffocation and inhalation of water, the subject experiences drowning and is caused to believe they are about to die. It is considered a form of torture by legal experts, politicians, war veterans, intelligence officials,military judges, and human rights organizations. In contrast to submerging the head face-forward in water, waterboarding precipitates a gag reflex almost immediately. The technique does not inevitably cause lasting physical damage. It can cause extreme pain, dry drowning, damage to lungs, brain damage from oxygen deprivation.

There, I have given everyone the cause and effects. But, I ask you this........What is wrong with using a technique where the physical and mental outcome can't even compare to the physical and mental effects terrorists cause on citizens of Earth? I say there is nothing wrong with this technique. Hurting a few bad guys to save the millions of good guys is the right way about it.

When we train our military professionals on the art of survival, do you think we are nice and us a nice classroom setting? NO!!! We teach our military professionals what can happen if they get captured. This includes torture techniques we practice on our own military personal so that they know what to expect. This makes them stronger.

Finally. WE MUST DO WHAT WE CAN TO PROTECT THIS GREAT NATION FROM ANOTHER 9/11/2001!!! If it involves waterboarding........the so be it. By the way, thanks to Wikipedia for the waterboarding thoughts.

Question. Why is the media not all over Obama's little comment on the Jay Leno Show. Well the conservative media is wondering the same thing. I guess I just answered my question. Liberal media thinks it was no big deal. If President Bush had made the comment, it would be a story for weeks. Activist groups would be picketing at the White House, the liberal citizens and Kanye West would be screaming he hates special citizens and so on. What a joke the people of this country have become. I know Obama called the President of the Special Olympics to apologize, but he is the President, he should know better to even come close in making a comment like that. Now I see he was challenged by some of our special citizens. The liberal news is making a joke out of that. I don't understand how it's OK for some people and jail-time for others.

I know you are tired of hearing about AIG and those bonuses. I want to look at it from a view that is almost flying under the radar. The Administration is pretending to be outraged. "How dare them give out bonuses with our bailout money"-Barnie's Frank. Oh.....like they had no clue! The head of AIG said that the Administration knew they were going to give these bonuses over a year ago. When the information leaked, the Administration did an about face and acted like they had no clue because they knew the public would be outraged. The liberal government must think us conservatives are stupid. I hear you guys studdaring through your White House interviews when these questions are asked. DON'T LIE TO US!!! That's all I ask.

America, this one saddens me. First let me say that I did NOT serve, but I have friends who have and currently are. I support them in any way I can. They allow me to sit here at this computer and practice my freedom of speech and for that I SAY THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF OUR TROOPS AND FOR ALL THAT THEY DO!

Conservative, Liberal, or Independent, this should not be an issue among the parties. The Obama administration is asking private insurance carriers to reimburse the Department of Veteran Affairs for treatment to troops who are injured in service.

Really.....please tell me this is a joke? Well after all of the spending the administration has done and plans to do, I can see why they would scratch, plan, and spend every penny found under the oval office couch cushions. I'm trying to stay calm about this instead of going off like I really want to. But, Hello McFly, these are our troops getting injured taking orders from the government. You should take care of them like you promised, not pass the buck. Our brave men and women took an oath to protect this country and we took an oath to take care of them at all times. But that's just like a liberal.....thinking about themselves.

I know this is a little old, but isn't it all coming together now. Congresswomen Maxine Waters (D) California, "accidentally" slips and reveals the Liberals plans on how to fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time. She clearly explains (in few words) the liberal agenda...socialism...where the government runs the oil companies. Listen to how she stumbles all over the foot hanging down from her mouth to get out of the situation. But I will give it to her, at least she is being honest.

Ah....ah.......basically.........I don't care what you say Mr. Shell Oil President. Liberals are going to make this about "big government"!! There it is, the truth. Everyone tell her thank you for telling us conservatives something we had figured out a long time ago. But it's nice to actually hear it for once.

Fairness Doctrine........I don't think so!

For those of you who don't know, the "Fairness Doctrine" allows the FCC to implement a policy that requires broadcast stations to provide opposing views on controversial issues of public importance. Well guess what? I like the fact that I can turn to America Right or Sirius Patriot and focus on my point of view and not get interrupted by views from the other side. Basically, the "left" is concerned with the truth of the "right". We have heard their concerns for the past eight years and now the republicans can't return the favor? Sounds socialists to me. What is wrong with the way things are now? The "left" can listen to NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, ABC, CNN etc. and the right can have Wilkow, Rush, Mark, Laura, Sean, FOX News and company. If the public wants to hear the other side, tune to one of their stations; that's not difficult. This is America!! Freedom of speech and opinions means something; not monotonous talk!

Well, once again the "Left" is lying. Do they possibly think nationalizing health care will really work. Show me a country where free health care has worked. Don't tell me to look at Canada or England. It's not working there and they are laughing at us because we....I mean they....the "left" is actually considering it. Go to any major news outlet in these countries and find a recent medical article that says nationalizing health care is the bomb. In these countries, the health care has bombed! You think our medical waiting lists are long, check theirs out. More people die because the lists are too long. People are suing because of their wait times for clinical and emergency help are too long. Doctors in Canada are actually looking to move to the United States because they are not getting paid enough and they are tired of the system. What happens then when the Doctors are gone from Canada? They think they have a problem now. So far, I have not been convinced and I can't believe Mr. Smooth Talker is actually getting somewhere with this.

Now that I have got that off my chest, let's talk about another topic that is eating me up. This Hugo Chavez thing. I mean, what is up with this guy? He seized his assets with an American company?!?! Come on, what is he thinking? Some are saying that this is almost an act of war. Hasn't he done enough to this world? I already don't by Citgo gas and I never will. I hope every red blooded American feels the same way. I like what Sean Hannity had to say today and I think he hit the nail on the head. America should seize what he owns here and sell them to the China. We could get hundreds of billion of dollars from it and put it towards this stimulus bill be are going to be forced to pay back for the rest of eternity. Plus it would be a good bargaining force with China to stop what they are doing with Iran. Let's get this guy where it hurts. But, what do I know?

Have We Forgotten?

Citizens of the United States,

Who are we? What is happening to this great nation? All we do is point the finger at somebody else. We have stopped taking responsibility for our own actions. Why do people feel that they are entitled to everything in this nation? What happened to hard work to earn what one has? What are we leaving for future generations and what are we teaching our children? I want everyone to read a prayer given by the great Billy Graham to our Lord and Savior.

How does this not make sense? Take a minute and set your issues, feelings, political preference, and busy lifestyle aside and use that God given brain. Check yourself........your morals........and the decisions your making. Are they the right one's? We have got to come together as people. From what I remember, the words are "for the people, by the people". Our elected officials are our employees. We decide what is right and wrong!!!
